L’OBJET is the life work of Elad Yifrach.

A lifelong traveler, Elad is especially fond of the Mediterranean, its peoples and ways, and its venerable traditions of fine craft.

Elad’s designs are in many ways a spirited homage to these great artisans. Yet he also aspires to extend and exceed these traditions, through painstaking effort and imagination, to create a entirely new echelon of artistry. A passion for innovation – in both technique and use of the highest quality materials – infuses everything he does. In his earliest collections, this was most evident in his use of porcelain.

Seeking the most vibrant expression of its purity and elegance, Elad became obsessed with the study of porcelain manufacturing. He then humbly, but determinedly, approached the world’s foremost workshops with a unique vision. While dubious at first, he found a few artisans willing to try. It took months of trial and error, but the resulting pieces were unquestionably bold, beautiful… and above all else, innovative. Those first pieces not only earned him the respect of the craftsmen, but launched Elad into the global design spotlight.

The hand-crafting techniques Elad has helped evolve, and the exquisite pieces they produce, are unique in the world. Rich in timeless detail and tradition, they are unmistakably modern. His designs have earned a loyal global following because they are not just beautiful, but sensual. It is a quality evidenced in the texture of a contoured relief embellished with glittering Swarovski crystals, in the surprising heft of a delicate vase of Limoges porcelain, or in the shimmering glow of hand-applied, 24kt gold.

As an accomplished Beverly Hills interior designer, Elad often dreamt of creating a décor and lifestyle collection of his own. In 2004 he did just that, flying to New York to present his prototype to Bergdorf Goodman, who immediately placed an order. And so L’OBJET was born. Today, with every new collection, Elad continues this quest to surprise , innovate, and inspire others to live a life of beauty.

L’Objet presents a collection of aromatic expressions

created from natural oils and essences, blended and poured by hand.

Apothecary

Artfully balanced aromatics can transform ordinary rituals into extraordinary escapes. Together with Europe’s oldest bath and beauty artisans, L’Objet blends old world techniques while finding innovation within the integrity of  natural ingredients. To ensure lasting potency, the formulations are contained in UV-blocking, black violet glass. The apothecary experience is designed to beautify the air, nourish the body, and lift the spirit.

L’OBJET’s debut Apothecary collection aims to highlight the  transforming power of human senses, namely smell and touch. In a neat continuation of their successful Parfums de Voyage home fragrance line,  each artfully balanced aromatic is designed to invigorate the body and  mind, whilst transforming ordinary rituals into extraordinary escapes.

The Apothecary collection is a refined, modern  take on an age-old tradition. Together with Europe’s oldest beauty artisans  and house perfumer Yann Vasnier, L’OBJET has developed a  range of rich fragrances and bathing experiences through an innovative blend of natural ingredients and old world techniques.

CÔTE MAQUIS

Salty air, infused with the earthiness of incense, cashmere wood, and lifted by warm, golden labdanum.

ROSE NOIRE

A velvety mix of exotic roses, delicately contrasted by Ceylon tea. This sumptuous, floral blend is shaded with hints of white pepper, pimento berry, and moss.

BOIS SAUVAGE

Italian bergamot, wild lavender, cypress forests, infused with heady jasmine absolute and vanilla, grounded in tobacco and spice.

In line with the striking monochrome language of Parfums de Voyage, each Apothecary formulation is contained within UV-blocking, black violet glass to ensure lasting potency. Inspired by the glass bottles used in  European apothecaries, these timeless shapes have been reimagined into a chic, graphic and modern form resulting in functional products that also makes a style statement.

Parfumes de Voyage

We travel to escape the ordinary. And of the many impressions we take away from our journeys, it is the sense of smell that leaves the greatest impact on our memory. Scents hold the power to transport us immediately to a place in time, to recapture a mood… or even to entice us with sensual hints of adventures yet to come. L’Objet presents a collection of aromatic expressions created from natural oils and essences, blended and poured by hand.

Experience Parfums de Voyage. The essence of discovery.

Join L’OBJET, on an aromatic journey around the world with the brand’s full collection of home fragrances, Parfums de Voyage. This exotic collection of aromatic expressions is created using 100% natural oils and essences, and includes four signature fragrances: Thé Russe (No. 75), Mamounia (No. 28), Jasmine d’Inde (No. 6) and Eau d’Égée (No. 3). Each is blended and poured by hand, then combined with pure waxes created specifically to capture the intensity of the fragrance. All the scents have a backstory describing its essence and the origin of its associated number.

To create these proprietary fragrances, L’OBJET’s Founder + Creative Director Elad Yifrach worked closely with perfumer Yann Vasnier, one of the world’s premier authorities on scent. As a master perfumer at Givaudan, Yann has collaborated with the likes of Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Comme des Garçons on some of their most iconic fragrances. The essences that Yann and Elad created for the Parfums de Voyage collection were inspired by Elad’s passion for travel. Each scent captures an unexpected moment of a journey, and recalls the magic of losing oneself in adventure.

OH MON DIEU!

Paris, 1969. It was a time of artistic and sexual revolution. The air was bohemian – raw, wild, playful, and undeniably sexy – in a way the world had never experienced before.

Glamour was ageless and effortless,  and women were as bold as their lipstick color, flaunting their freedom, style, and powers of seduction. Oh Mon Dieu!

A sensual pairing of cognac and lipstick notes with undertones of incense, leather, and caramel.

MAMOUNIA

It was spring in Marrakesh. Leaving her riad at 28 Rue Assourel, she pressed against the medina’s clay walls, giving leeway to passing carts of fresh roses.

She breathed it all in. Not just the perfume of the flowers, but the vats of spices, the tanned leathers, the carved cedar boxes, and the urns of fresh Nanah tea.

Intoxicated by the aromas, she lost her sense of direction, yet made her way confidently, navigating with broken French and a genuine smile… feeling for the first time in ages, truly alive.

EAU D’ÉGÉE

For the gracious people of the Aegean coast, life is defined by ritual. In their time-honored daily routines, work and play blend harmoniously, and nature governs all.

It is an enviable lifestyle, defined by 3 simple elements: the sun, the sea, and the spirit. The Aegean spirit is as pure as the sea breezes, tempered by aromatic wildflowers, sweetened by coriander and fig from local gardens, and the spice of burning sage drifting from ancient temples.

Immerse your senses in Eau d’Égée, and let the spirit move you.

THÉ RUSSE

It was the winter of 1975 when Philippe received the invitation to view a privately held collection of antiquities. Traveling by train for two days, he arrived in the study of a mansion on St. Petersburg’s Griboyedov Canal.

Settling into a Louis XIV bergère beside the fireplace, he was enveloped by the scents of leather-bound books, the crackling fire, and the steam of black tea from a spectacular samovar.

Mischa appeared in the doorway. “Tea first?” Then, in regard to Philippe’s obvious obsession with the samovar, “Tombak bronze, circa 1775.”

JASMIN D’INDE

Weary from a long day laboring in her flower stall, she hardly noticed him at first. But there he was; elegant, as one might expect of a saffron baron, yet earthy and ruggedly handsome.

As he leaned in to admire a jasmine garland, she inhaled the unmistakable, bitter-sweet aroma of the saffron that clung to his clothing.

Suddenly a market bell rang in the hour, punctuating the moment their eyes locked. It was 6 o’clock, when the market closes, the jasmine opens, and new love blossoms.

INCENSE

From the time our earliest ancestors tossed dried leaves and herbs onto their communal fires, the blending of incense became a sacred and healing art. Earthy yet mysterious, incense is still treasured today for its ability to enliven our senses, cleanse impurities, and elevate our moods. The Parfums de Voyage collection features Japanese incense, which delivers the purest fragrance possible. Elevate the expe- rience further by aerating and lifting the fragrance through a timeless porcelain amphora.
